I'm trying to figure out how to be simultaneously connected and more self-sufficient. Times are crazy here in the US, and probably set to get crazier, and I'm not the kind to move to a bunker in Montana; this is rightly a community project about how best to live. So, how should my household live? Idk. Maybe it involves chickens and neighbors. My wife and I are trying to figure it out.

I post about my yard, gardening, cooking, book binding, cool stuff I see out and about, and about me trying new things. I love hearing what other people are doing and learning.
